It is about time again for Vacation Bible School and things around here are beginning to ramp up with excitement. This year Mrs. Dell Stith is going to be helping head up this program and I am confident with her experience VBS will be very fun, exciting and full of valuable experiences for the children. Friends, The church picnic and baptism celebration originally scheduled for May 19 has been postponed until May 26 (Memorial Day weekend).  We apologize to those who have already made plans for that weekend – and we hope the new choice will work for everyone. As a church, we are raising money between now and Father’s Day for the the Mercy House. “Holy Week” begins today with Palm Sunday. This week is focused on Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.
