We know it can be daunting to step into a new thing, especially when you’re not exactly sure about the details that matter to you. To give you a picture of what Southlake Baptist looks like week to week, here are some answers to frequently asked questions.
WHERE DO YOU MEET?
For our Sunday service, we meet at our campus located at 1101 N Carroll Ave in Southlake. Click here for a map
WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL SUNDAY SCHEDULE?
We have Bible Studies at 9:15am for all ages. Our worship service starts at 10:30am. We also have Quest during the 10:30am hour, it’s a dynamic learning experience for kids ages 3 years-4th grade.
WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE?
We keep our services simple and follow a basic pattern of meeting together; we preach from the Bible, pray, sing, reflect, and respond. On some weeks, we take communion together. What you’ll encounter when you come to a Sunday gathering is a diverse, biblical community where some people are checking out Christianity for the first time while others have been in church their whole lives. We want Southlake Baptist to be a place where you can learn, apply, and wrestle with who God is and what He wants for you. It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out yet. Everyone is welcome.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
On Sundays, most of our congregation dress in a casual and comfortable style. You’ll notice some folks who tend to dress up for church and others who don’t. Feel free to wear what’s comfortable for you.
HOW CAN I GET CONNECTED?
On Sunday, we encourage you to visit our Guest Central table in the lobby to get answers to your questions and to find out ways to connect at Southlake Baptist. If you would like to serve the church in a ministry, we have many places to get involved. Another great way to connect with our church is through our Home Groups.

WHAT IS YOUR DENOMINATIONAL AFFILIATION?
Southlake Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. As with all Southern Baptist churches, Southlake Baptist understands that its association with the Southern Baptist Convention is entirely voluntary. We are thankful for the resurgence of biblical values in the SBC in the 1980s and are pleased to contribute to its causes, including the efforts of the International Missions Board (IMB) to take the gospel to all corners of the earth.
