We are super excited to share with you our new pre-teen bible study called “Big Picture”. This Sunday bible study will dig even deeper into the 52 “catechism” questions and answers we have been studying in the church this past year. In addition, your child will learn about historical figures, explore missionary biographies and understand more about our Baptist heritage. This is a 2-year program designed for 5th & 6th graders. We are hopeful with these tools and Pastor Clay’s wisdom and expertise, your child will grow in these transitional years, be grounded in His Word, and confident in their faith.
Your child’s faith is very important to us, so we’ve done our homework. According to Barna Research Group, having a significant faith commitment and an identifiable set of religious beliefs was mentioned by just one out of every five parents as an ingredient required for parental success. Even more startling, is that only three out of ten born again Christian parents included the salvation of their child in the list of critical parental emphases. Unacceptable, right? Big Picture is designed to help you raise the bar in your home.
