It is our hope that as families work together to learn the fifty-two questions and answers found in this catechism, they will increase not only in knowledge, but in the fruit of the Spirit, as they grow to love God with all of their hearts.

Psalm 7:11
God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day.

Question 39
Will God allow our disobedience and idolatry to go unpunished?

Answer:
No, every sin is against the sovereignty, holiness, and goodness of God, and against his righteous law, and God is righteously angry with our sins and will punish them both in this life, and in the life to come.

Kids Answer:
No, God is righteously angry with our sins and will punish them in his just judgment both in this life, and in the life to come.
