It is our hope that as families work together to learn the fifty-two questions and answers found in this catechism, they will increase not only in knowledge, but in the fruit of the Spirit, as they grow to love God with all of their hearts.

Galatians 4:5-7
[5] to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. [6] And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” [7] So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

What is Adoption?

Adoption is an act of God’s grace, by which we are received into God’s family and have a right to all the privileges of his children.
