It is our hope that as families work together to learn the fifty-two questions and answers found in this catechism, they will increase not only in knowledge, but in the fruit of the Spirit, as they grow to love God with all of their hearts.

Acts 2:46-47
46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

What is a local church?

The local church is a community of believers, where the gospel is preached and the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper administered in true faith.

Kid’s Answer:
The local church is a community of Christians where the gospel is preached, people are baptized, and The Lord’s Supper is practiced.
