Here are more excellent ways you can speak truth to others this week…
- Examine your heart daily before the Lord. (Psalm 139)
- Confess sin daily. (1 John 1:5-9)
- Choose to be honest regardless of the consequence (which might be worse for dishonesty). (Galatians 4:16)
- Pray for eyes to hear and recognize untruth. (John 8:32)
- Pray for courage to be an instrument of truth for God. (Ephesians 4:25)
- Ask God for the wisdom to know when it is your responsibility to speak truth into a persons life. (1 John 2:27)
…and tell them why you are doing it.
