Brad was ordained and served as a deacon for a number of years at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano where he began his membership in 1989. Brad moved his membership to Southlake Baptist Church in 2009 having moved into Tarrant County. Brad currently serves the church as an elder.
As an elder, Brad serves his Pastor and church in prayer, assisting in the direction of SBC’s path as a church. Brad serves in various ministries at SBC, primarily as an usher and on SBC’s budget team. Brad volunteered at Dallas’ Suicide and Crisis Center for a number of year, seven years at Prestonwood Pregnancy Center, and for two years at Real Choices Pregnancy Medical Clinic in Grapevine. Brad and his wife, Martie, also volunteered as Marriage Mentors a number of years.
A native Texan, Brad was educated at The University of Texas at Arlington on full scholarship, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate in 1992. Brad has been employed locally in the Southlake area for almost 20 years.
Brad and Martie live in Keller and have one adult daughter; Angela. They have two grandchildren, Christian and Annie.
