Women's Luncheon Recap
With many new members and several ladies who have serving positions on Sunday and do not have the opportunity to visit with other SBC ladies, it was great spending time together and for some, finally putting a name to a face. Thus, the first step in building relationships so precious and necessary if we are to join together in serving the Lord, took place last Saturday.
Our elegant ladies' tearoom buffet was the perfect venue for celebrating the beginning of the SBC Women's Ministry. With flavored teas, appetizers, salads and dainty pastries, we had the perfect setting for forming new friendships, as well as renewing those with our Christian sisters.
Following a short description of our Bible study for this session, ladies completed a survey which will be used to develop the specifics of our ministry to SBC and the community.
