When: July 9-15
Where: Indianapolis, IN
Who: Students who have completed 7th-12th grade
Cost: $199

Students will serve kids in Indianapolis through a sports camp and local outreach in neighborhoods. This is a great opportunity to partner with our friend, Joe Lightner and Legacy Stone Church.

We will leave the church at 5am on Saturday, July 9. We’re taking a van we rented from a local rental company. We’ll drive the whole way to Indianapolis and arrive at our host church late that evening. We’ll get up Sunday morning and assist Legacy Stone Church with their children’s ministry in their new building. On Sunday afternoon, we will receive some additional training to prepare for the sports camp we will conduct during the week. We will be doing various service projects around the church and community in the morning and leading a basketball camp in the afternoon Monday through Thursday. We will host all of the families from the sports camp on Thursday evening for a big celebration. On Friday morning, July 15 we will load back up and make the trip all the way back to Southlake to arrive in the late evening Friday night.

Our lodging in Indy will be provided by a local church called Northside Baptist Church. We will be partnering with another church from TX (Rock Hill Baptist Church) who is staying at this same location and serving alongside us at the sports camp. Rock Hill BC is helping to coordinate most of our meals during the trip.

We will have limited room in the van and trailer for packing, so please NO large suitcases. Students should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, athletic-style clothes, sunscreen, towels, toiletries, and church clothes. It is ok if students bring an air mattress since we will be on the floor of the church, but please only small twin-size ones in order to save space in the van.

All meals once we arrive in Indy are taken care of, but students will need to bring money for meals while traveling. We will plan to stop at quick, convenient, and inexpensive restaurants.
