Tailgate Party

On Sunday, February 5, Southlake Baptist Church will host our first Superbowl Tailgate Party after the 10:15 morning service! We are encouraging everybody who attends that Sunday to wear their favorite college or NFL team jersey to church.
After the service, it’s lunch time! We’ll have hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, chips, drinks…all your favorite Superbowl good eats. We’re also encouraging every family who attends to bring your favorite Superbowl snack or chip dip.
There will be an exciting flag football game for the guys, junior high and up. Guys will be able to sign up for one of two teams that Sunday morning right after church. We’ll have tents along the playing field with concession foods, hot drinks, and soda fountain drinks. We’ll also have a sports commentator’s tent for the flag football game!
For the elementary-age children, we are planning a game of big ball. Don’t know what that is? Come and find out! Your kids will also enjoy sports bounce houses, face painting, and balloon art.
Things to bring with you that day:
-Your family’s favorite Superbowl snack
-Your favorite team jersey
-Clothes to play in after the service
-Lawn chairs
