Rooted & Relevant
Southlake Baptist Church is a Gospel-centered community where believers in Jesus Christ are rooted in the teachings of Scripture. 
Our focus is to teach and preach the truths of God’s Word in a relevant manner, to guide those who do not know Christ toward a relationship with Him, and to help Christians living in today’s culture live for Jesus.
In Mark 12:30-31, Jesus gave us two commandments. He said,
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Southlake Baptist seeks to obey those commandments by loving God with everything we have while genuinely caring for and serving our neighbors. Furthermore, because Christ’s love reaches out to the whole world, our vision is to spread the Gospel, not only in our community, but to every nation on earth.
Our Core Values
IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS. Our church exists to make much of Jesus. He is the reason we live and breathe. Southlake Baptist is His church, and our goal is to center everything we do around glorifying Jesus Christ and seeing lives transformed to live for Him.
GOSPEL COMMUNITY. One of our core values is engaging in Gospel community. One key expression of community in our church is gathering in small groups in a variety of settings throughout our community. Small groups facilitate a connection between Christian living in the home and teaching and preaching in the church.
THE GREAT COMMISSION. Before Jesus went back to heaven, He gave the church a specific command, "Go make disciples of every nation." We believe this is the mission of the church. To accomplish this mission around the world, we support and administrate the ministry of Global Church Planters and lead a North American church planting network.
