SCRIPTURE REFLECTION
All seems lost. All hope appears to have been expunged. The Savior of the world is laid in a tomb. His death is marked by the very boulder covering His tomb.

PRAYER
God, how dark this moment was. I can only imagine what was going through the disciples’ minds. Their Messiah, their Lord, has been laid in the earth. This Easter, may I remember that Jesus defeated death by fully embracing it. He had to enter fully into the grave before coming out of it. Help me to walk alongside others who are going through dark times and point them to the One who embraced death so that they could have life.
